Hey Members of SØT,
I just wanted to say that you guys are all so awesome! It's been such a pleasure and a joy being able to "lead" you in an online gaming group. I've really been able to get to know some of you guys over the past couple months (and lots of you over the years), and I'm looking forward to continuing to build up even stronger relationships! I know it's just over the internet, and that we all have friends (or *should* have friends) in real life, but still, you guys are a great bunch to hang with. So yeah, just thought I'd let you all know that I appreciate your friendships, support, and activity. I know it'll be tough and take a whole lot of effort to really get our servers actively populated, but from what I've seen from you guys so far, I definitely believe we can do it. =)
And on a final note: if ever I don't sound that "friendly" or..I don't know, just cheery on Ventrilo and what-not, I apologize. I am some-what of a mellow guy when it comes to talking, but once I get comfortable around people (when I'm actually talking to them), I do sound more up-beat. ;)
So please bear with me as I'm still growing (and will ALWAYS be growing) as a leader (even if it's just an online game). I don't just want to be a structured leader when it comes to documents, forms, and regulations, but I also want to be a confident leader; someone you guys can trust to hold this group together. =)
So there's my spheal! Looking forward to hanging with you all more; even into the school year!
Oh yeah, and before I forget, my family and I are going to be moving to a new house within our city on the 26/27th of August, so Iron!c and I will be less active than usual these next two weeks with all of the packing that's required. I’ll make sure to post that in the “Away for a While” topic.
